Join Our Challenge

The New Year can often inspire a new hobby or goal but this year there are greater challenges at play, not only of our time, but of our physical setting too.

At the Myhre Syndrome Foundation we’ve set ourselves a challenge to raise $28,000 by 28 February 2021, to celebrate Rare Disease Day. Many sporting and fundraising events have been cancelled which means we need to think creatively!

Our Myhre warriors face the daily physical and emotional challenges with such resilience and strength, and the money you raise would be directly impacting their lives, as we fund research to tackle this complex syndrome. So, what can you do?

Walk, Run or Cycle
Adhering to your local guidelines, is there a goal you’d like to achieve? Is a 5k walk your style or will two wheels perhaps take you further?

Set yourself a goal and spread the word, or better yet, create a Virtual Team Event with your friends – choose a day or week to complete your challenge and tap into a wider fundraising network.

Virtually Connected
Spending more time at home has seen a huge increase in virtual meetups so why not get your friends and family together for a fundraising event?

Ask for a donation to join your Quiz Night, Talent Show, Games Night, Book Club – go wild with your ideas. Fun is almost guaranteed, and you’ll be raising money along with the smiles.
