We are pleased to announce that Christiana Thomas (right) has been appointed as our next Executive Director, succeeding Kate Wears, who has led the organization through a pivotal period of growth and impact. Kate’s leadership has elevated our research strategy, patient engagement, and advocacy presence, laying a strong foundation for the Foundation’s next chapter.
Christiana joins the Foundation with over a decade of experience leading strategic communications and advancement initiatives across nonprofit and corporate sectors. She has built a career around crafting high-impact campaigns, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and securing significant philanthropic and institutional support. With a focus on translating complex challenges into actionable strategies, she has helped mission-driven organizations expand their visibility and achieve measurable outcomes.
