Betsy Cox
Board of Directors
Betsy is very excited to join the Myhre Syndrome Board! Betsy is a primary care physician at the student health service at the University of Rochester, in Rochester NY for over 25 years, and a teacher at a local urban High School, focusing on supporting young adults interested in health careers. She earned her BA from Middlebury College, and her MD and MS degrees from the University of Rochester. Betsy enjoys running, gardening and nature in all seasons. Life long learning continues to be a passion, and Betsy also is a member of the Myhre Syndrome Scientific Committee.
Betsy's amazing and supportive family include children Cal (diagnosed with Myhre Syndrome at the age of 10), Katie, Eric, husband Jef and pup Rocky :)
Cal continues to be an inspiration to all of us, with his creativity, humor and grit.
