Interest Form - Camp Cole - Friday August 20th to Sunday 22nd, 2027

We're so excited to announce our very first community camp, happening at Camp Cole in South Carolina from Friday, August 20th to Sunday, August 22nd, 2027!

Picture a weekend of connection, adventure, and making memories together, all set against the backdrop of Camp Cole's beautiful grounds. Camp Cole serves children, teens, and adults who are navigating serious illnesses, disabilities, and complex life challenges through transformative summer camps. In August 2027, we are exclusively using Camp Cole’s venue to provide a family camp for our community (this camp is for families- sorry, kids, you need to bring your grown-ups!)

Watch this wonderful video about Camp Cole and their story. This is the first time we're running something like this, and we can't wait to experience it with you. This isn't a booking yet, just a way for us to gauge interest and start planning around who's coming and from where. We’ll have a program that will suit all ages, plus time for adults, parents, and guardians to connect as a group too.

There will be a small commitment fee per person when registration opens. We know affordability looks different for every family, especially when travel costs are added on top, so we've tried to keep this as accessible as possible. MSF will be covering activities, food, and accommodation. If you choose to stay off-site, that will be at your own cost, but food and activities would be provided at the camp venue.

Filling out this interest form really helps us with planning, and it's the first step toward an amazing weekend.

Accommodation note
Camp Cole offers 13 on-site dorm-style cabins, with each dorm sleeping 16 people. Each dorm has a lounge, bathrooms, and a front porch. The default arrangement is two cabins:

  • Mums/Female Guardians & Girls (all female adults and girls)

  • Dads/Male Guardians & Boys (all male adults and boys).

  • Boys aged 7 and under may stay with their mother/female guardian in the Mums & Girls cabin if needed.

  • Boys 8 and over stay in the Dads & Boys cabin with their father or another designated male guardian.

For parents/guardians attending alone with opposite-sex children who don't fit this default (dads/guardians with daughters only, or mums/female guardians with sons aged 8+), we have a Staff Cabin with a limited number of twin rooms available.

By filling out this form, you acknowledge that you'll be added to the mailing list for updates on dates, pricing, and registration opening.

Travel
Camp Cole is located in Eastover, SC, just outside Columbia.

  • Nearest domestic airport: Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) — about 20–25 minutes from camp. This will likely be the most convenient option for most US-based travelers.

  • Charleston International Airport (CHS) — about 1 hour 45 minutes from camp. CHS is served mostly by domestic and a small number of seasonal international routes, so check whether it has a direct connection from your home airport before booking. It's also a lovely spot if your family wants to extend the trip and explore Charleston before or after camp!

  • Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), NC — about 1.5–2 hours from camp. The region's main hub for international connections, so likely your best bet if you're flying in from outside the US.

  • Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL) — about 3 hours from camp. Worth checking if CLT doesn't have a good connection from your home airport, as ATL is one of the world's busiest international hubs.

Note: flight availability varies by season and route. Please compare a couple of these airports before booking, especially if you're traveling internationally.
