Bert Callewaert is a pediatrician, clinical geneticist and researcher in medical genetics. He is appointed Associate Professor in clinical genetics at Ghent University and Head of Clinic at the Center for Medical Genetics of the Ghent University Hospital. He is a Senior Clinical Investigator of the Research Foundation – Flanders. His research mainly focusses on rare connective tissue disorders with skin manifestations, cardiogenetics and dysmorphology focusing on clinical and molecular delineation of several entities.
