COL (Ret.) Inès White is currently a Research Analyst for the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA), Washington, D.C.  She provides logistics expertise for the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of State. Inès has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and a second in French from the University of South Dakota. As well as a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University. Inès served in the U.S. Army for 27 years as a Logistics Officer.

In addition to her career, Inès serves in numerous roles with her church, mentors’ young women and men, in and out of the military. In 2015 Inès became a Board Member of Little Patriots Embrace, which serves to recognize the needs of children of all military members, a Board Member of SESDAC, Inc. serving the special needs of community members in Vermillion, SD and in 2019 she joined the Board of the Myhre Syndrome Foundation.

Inès is married to Chris White, they have three children, Allie (married to James), Sam, Katie and four grandchildren Emma, Wyatt, Claire and Olivia. Inès and her family currently reside in Vermillion, SD.  Katie was diagnosed in 2014 with Myhre Syndrome (I500V).
