Jennifer Stewart joins the Myhre Syndrome Foundation as Executive Director, bringing a diverse background in non-profit operations, program management, and community advocacy. Over the course of her career spanning public safety, statewide non-profit leadership, and organizational consulting, Jennifer has focused on building practical systems, supporting multi-disciplinary teams, and serving communities through complex challenges. A firm believer in continuous learning to better support the missions she serves, she has earned professional certifications in Non-Profit Management, Standards of Excellence, and Fundraising.
Jennifer was drawn to the Myhre Syndrome Foundation by the remarkable passion, hope, and dedication shared by its families, researchers, and advocates. Honored to step into this role, she is eager to build on the strong foundation the organization's founders, board, and community members have already established. Her goal is to ensure the Foundation continues to offer a welcoming, supportive space where individuals and families affected by Myhre syndrome feel heard, valued, and connected.
Looking ahead, Jennifer is focused on supporting the great work already underway while exploring new growth opportunities. She looks forward to partnering closely with clinicians, researchers, and community leaders to advance the science, expand educational resources, and secure funding that drives the mission forward. Together with the board and the global MSF community, Jennifer is dedicated to honoring the progress made so far while thoughtfully guiding the Foundation into its next chapter.
